This point dataset contains the location of Barbeques in Australian Capital Territory.

These assets are either owned or managed by City Services, Transport Canberra and City Services Directorate (TCCS). Assets managed and / or owned privately, by other ACT Government Directorates or by the Federal Government may not be included.

These barbecues, most of which are electric, and constructed from brick with a stainless steel top, are available to be used free of charge.

While barbecue facilities vary depending on location, they are generally located near seats, tables, bins and a tap for convenience.

Attributes include location description, suburb, asset sub type (Electric, Gas, Wood), hotplate combination, hotplate material, bench type, door type, and climb access.

These assets are captured and maintained in the asset database through the Works as Executed (WAE) process and field audits.
