These layers show the ratio of the population of children under 18 whose race is identified as a minority using the 2022 release of data from the American Community Survey (ACS) about “Sex by Age” (All Races-Table B01001), (White Alone, Not Hispanic or Latino-Table B01001H)", (Hispanic or Latino-Table B01001i), and (Black or African American Alone-Table B01001B) and contain estimates and margins of error. This is shown by tract boundaries.
For Minority Race-Ethnicity “All” - The layer is symbolized to show the percentage of the Children under 18 that are considered a minority race and white-Hispanic/Latino ethnicity [(Sum of <18 minus white-Hispanic/Latino <18 divided by Sum <18) x 100].
For Black Alone – The layer is symbolized to show the percentage of the Children under 18 whose race is identified as Black or African American Alone [(Sum of <18 Black/African American divided by Sum <18) x 100].
For Hispanic/Latino Alone – The layer is symbolized to show the percentage of the Children under 18 whose ethnicity is identified as Hispanic or Latino Alone [(Sum of <18 Hispanic/Latino divided by Sum <18) x 100].
