Service Description: A raster combination analysis of the co-occurrence among elevation, aspect, and slope, across the Wallowa County landscape to predict (simulate) Ecological Site Descriptions as developed by the Natural Resource Conservation Service, These terrain variables are explicitly used in NRCS protocols for determining ESD and also imply other important factors such as landform (plateaus, ridges, canyons) or precipitation zone (as related to altitude).
