U.S. Major Highways represents the major highways of the United States. These include interstate highways, U.S. highways, state highways, major roads, local roads, ramps, ferries, and pedestrian ways. This dataset is derived from the Census 2000 TIGER/Line files. It contains all Class 1 and 2 road segments plus any other road segments necessary to provide network connectivity for the field CLASS_RTE.
