- intro1 (type: esriFieldTypeString, alias: The Town of Sandwich has worked over the last 3 years on the planning and development of a connection for bicyclists from the new path currently under construction on Service Road to the Cape Cod Canal shared use path. The initial planning efforts identified a preferred route of this connection and solicited public feedback on the type of facility and preferences for the location of the facility. The next steps involved obtaining a ground survey of the preferred route and beginning conceptual design efforts on the survey., SQL Type: sqlTypeOther, length: 255, nullable: true, editable: true)
- intro2 (type: esriFieldTypeString, alias: Through input garnered during public participation, the Town has decided to pursue a separated shared use path (SUP), to be installed along the edge of roadways and through state property along the route. The shared use path will start at the intersection of Shawme Road and Water Street/Route 130 and proceed 3.1 miles along Water Street, Morse Road, across the Sandwich Fish Hatchery property (MA Fish & Wildlife), Route 6A, Tupper Road and Freezer Road, where it will meet the existing canal SUP. The entire length of the proposed SUP will be hot mix asphalt. A separate state-led project will connect from the west end of the Service Road SUP, installing a path adjacent to Route 130 to cross under the Route 6 overpass, and extend to Route 130 at Shawme Road., SQL Type: sqlTypeOther, length: 255, nullable: true, editable: true)
- intro3 (type: esriFieldTypeString, alias: The construction of this route will be a critical piece in the spine of the off-road & separated bicycle infrastructure on the Cape. With plans to connect from the Service Road shared use path to the spine of the Cape Cod Rail Trail in Yarmouth in the works the Cape Cod Commission has identified this project connection that is needed to complete the vision of a path network from the canal to Wellfleet, and possibly to Provincetown., SQL Type: sqlTypeOther, length: 255, nullable: true, editable: true)
- intro4 (type: esriFieldTypeString, alias: This survey is requesting feedback to inform the ongoing conceptual design and future design work on the preferred alternative route., SQL Type: sqlTypeOther, length: 255, nullable: true, editable: true)
