Description: This feature class consists of linear data representing the Federal functional classification of road segments in the State of Virginia. This data is owned by the VDOT Transportation and Mobility Planning Division (TMPD). This data is derived from the VDOT Linear Referencing System and is updated nightly based on LRS changes, and updates to the business information. The Linear Referencing System is based on the Virginia Department of Transportation's source system of record for road inventory.
