Service Description: Boundary representing the area of the Great Salt Lake Sentinel Landscape. The dataset contains a polygon representing the Great Salt Lake Sentinel Landscape (GSLSL) Boundary. The GSLSL was established in 2024 to align interests, maximize resources, and build resilience in military installations, communities, and ecosystems within the Great Salt Lake Basin. The boundary of the GSLSL was created using insight from federal agencies, state and local governments, and non-governmental organizations. The boundary was created by the Great Salt Lake Sentinel Landscape Coordinator with input from multiple federal agencies, state and local governments, and non-governmental organizations.

How reliable and accurate is the dataset?

The boundary was approved by the Federal Coordinating Committee (FCC) for the Sentinel Landscape Partnership. It will remain unchanged until an approval for expansion is granted by the FCC.
