Description: This feature layer contains the most frequently used combinations of highways in eastern California and western Nevada to detour around incidents resulting in hard closures in Caltrans District 9. Closures can be caused by inclement weather or by a variety of other factors, such as traffic accidents, fires or earthquakes. The purpose of this layer is to inform decision-makers about the options available in directing thru traffic to rejoin the main roads in Mono and Inyo Counties north or south of the closures.
