Description: <div style="text-align:Left;"><div><div><p><span>The Caltrans Office of Natural Resource Management (ONRM) serves as Caltrans' commitment as a partner agency in the California Wildfire & Forest Resilience Task Force. The ONRM oversees vegetation management activities in the Caltrans right-of-way (ROW) along state highways to reduce the threat of wildfires. This feature class provides a summary of vegetation management work orders completed by Caltrans field crews along state highways in calendar years 2020 - 2025, as extracted from the Integrated Maintenance Management Systems (IMMS) / Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI). Work orders were logged under the following activities: C31040 - Remove Tree and C30040 - Tree Trimming (Tree work orders). Certain records unrelated to trees treated were withheld. Location data such as District, County, Route, HighwayID and Postmiles were parsed from the original data. After input to ArcGIS, the table of tree work was combined and summarized by total Production Quantity (trees treated) with the HighwayID field as the case field. The combined data was then joined to the State Highway Network (SHN) dataset to provide a Production Summary of total trees treated by highway. Finally, the feature class was related to a table of all the individual Tree work orders.</span></p></div></div></div>

Certain records unrelated to trees treated or had a Production Summary of 0 were withheld from this table. This table has been enriched with Task Force Activities to ensure reporting compatibility. This table is related to a feature class of the State Highway Network (SHN) containing the Production Summary of trees treated by highway.</span></p></div></div></div>
