Service Description: Intro GIS hw6
This map displays Sierra Leone’s total Ebolavirus Disease (EVD) case counts from the 2014-2015 West Africa Ebola Outbreak by district. Sierra Leone had the most cases out of all affected countries during the outbreak. To create this analysis, I joined a Sierra Leone district shapefile from Humanitarian Data Exchange with a CSV file of case counts from the W.H.O. The raw case count data documented number of cases per epidemiological week. I calculated the sum of each week’s case count to create the total case count per district.
