Polyline Feature Class River Segment is used as part of the rendering of the City of Kingston Basemapping, Community Map Project, General Presentation, General Analysis. All streams, creeks, ditches less than 5m in width are captured as part of this polyline feature class. Greater than 5m streams and rivers etc are captured in the polygon feature class Waterbody. This data is updated with the most recent Imagery (Nearmap) acquisition (Spring/Fall). As with all planimetric feature data, the River Segment feature class is frequently being updated, therefor the data is not considered complete in nature.
