Service Description: This is an example map of electric vehicle charging for Kansas and Missouri. 25 mile Service areas were created in Network Analyst from existing EV charging stations to show the current drivable extent of EV charging station coverage. Highways were erased from these service areas to show the highway segments not within 25 miles of an EV charging station. All highway segments were buffered with a 1 mile radius to summarize within the traffic count with a highway segment. A Near analysis was also performed to be able to tell where the nearest existing EV charging station is to a given highway segment. This map is just an example map and is DRAFT status. This map is not currently meant to be used for public consumption.
