This dataset represents proposed XS and S sites for the 2020 LA River Master Plan (LA County Public Works). These have been sourced from published plans including the Lower LA River Revitalization Plan (LLARRP), the City of LA's LA River Revitalization Master Plan (LARRMP), and Metro's LA River Path Project. Some sites are newly proposed to ensure a regular cadence of facilities and amenities along the LA River's 51 mile length. Existing LA River Trail access points with significant need for improvements are also included as XS and S sites.

Planned major projects have been sourced from published plans including, but not limited to, the Lower LA River Revitalization Plan (LLARRP) and the City of LA's LA River Revitalization Master Plan (LARRMP). Proposed project sites were selected through an opportunity and need analysis by OLIN, Gehry Partners, and Geosyntec.
