This feature layer contains network-based analysis results for the U.S. Bicycle Route System (USBRS) in Ohio. It includes key prioritization inputs evaluated along the network, such as Mode Shift Potential, Bicycle Risk Factors, and Level of Traffic Stress (LTS).
The analysis was developed to support the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Walk Bike Ohio plan and reflects conditions at the time of analysis. Data were compiled from statewide and national sources and processed using GIS-based network analysis methods to assess relative demand, safety, and connectivity along designated bicycle routes.
This layer is intended for planning and prioritization purposes, helping identify opportunities to improve comfort, safety, and usage of the USBRS network. It may not reflect recent network changes or project-level conditions. Updates are not expected on a regular schedule unless part of future planning efforts.
