Easement types include conservation, agricultural, forest, and home owner association protected areas. Utility, right-of-way, and other maintenance easements are not included. Data includes all known easements in California. Easements are typically defined by the entire parcel, though easements typically only cover a portion of the parcel. Data is known to be incomplete and include errors. Data has been compiled from existing datasets and thus accuracy varies greatly between areas.
