Layer and track was created from data provided by Randy Wells at the Sarasota Dolphin Project. A Risso's dolphin (Grampus griseus), Betty, was found stranded and rehabilitated at Mote Marine Laboratory. After rehabilitation Betty was released on 27 September 2007. She was fitted with both a Splash tag to track both location and dive data, as well as a VHF transmitter (ATS). The tags remained active until 10 January 2008.
