Description: Instrument locations were documented with a GEOXH GEoExplorer 6000 series Trimble - differential Global Positioning System (GPS) unit. Post-processing of GPS collected data was done in Pathfinder Office 5.4. A minimum of four satellites were required for recording GPS points found in this dataset. The Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Smart Setting for PDOP, SNR and EHE on the Trimble unit was selected for this site requiring no adjustments of settings within the study area. Wide Area Augmentation Systems (WAAS) along with post-processing enhanced the precision of the data derived. A custom data dictionary for field collection was created to facilitate data collection.
