Description:

Version of 1 Jan 2003. This outline is based on a modification of ecological boundaries in the National Hierarchy of Ecological Units, used by the Forest Service to delineate areas of similar geography. It has been used in conjunction with projects done for the Greater Yellowstone Coordinating Committee for the last four years. Projection is UTM zone 12, meters, NAD27.
