Description: In 2008 Assateague Island National Seashore continued to survey shoreline position as part of its Geomorphologic Monitoring program. This file presents the results of the Spring 2008 (May) survey, and contains the Ocean-side survey area for all of Maryland, and most of Virginia. Due to threatened and endangered shorebird activity, the northern 10-11 kilometers was unable to be surveyed.In June 2013 the dataset was updated to NAD83 (2011) epoch 2010.00
