Description: Area features were extracted from the USGS high-resolution National Hydrography Dataset (NHD). Only features that are within or adjacent to a national park unit and identified as impaired by the Clean Water Act Sections 303d (Category 5) and 305b (Categories 4a, 4b, and 4c) were included in this dataset. Common NHD area features include canals/ditches, foreshores, inundation areas, and streams/rivers.
Description: Flowline features were extracted from the USGS high-resolution National Hydrography Dataset (NHD). Only features that are within or adjacent to a national park unit and identified as impaired by the Clean Water Act Sections 303d (Category 5) and 305b (Categories 4a, 4b, and 4c) were included in this dataset. Common NHD flowline features include canals/ditches and streams/rivers.
Description: This dataset is a merge of Flowline303d, Shoreline303d, Area303d, and Waterbody303d feature classes. Linear features (flowlines and shorelines) were given a small buffer prior to merging with polygonal features. For more information, please view metadata for each individual feature classes.
Description: <span style="font-family:"Avenir Next W01", "Avenir Next W00", "Avenir Next", Avenir, "Helvetica Neue", sans-serif; font-size:16px;">This dataset delineates displays National Park Service unit boundaries, as defined by NPS Lands Resources Division. Administrative Boundaries of National Park System Units can be downloaded at NPS DataStore: https://irma.nps.gov/DataStore/Reference/Profile/2224545?lnv=True.</span>
Description: Shoreline features were extracted from the USGS high-resolution National Hydrography Dataset (NHD). Only features that are within or adjacent to a national park unit and identified as impaired by the Clean Water Act Sections 303d (Category 5) and 305b (Categories 4a, 4b, and 4c) were included in this dataset. Shorelines were extracted by taking the perimeter of polygonal NHD features that were classified as lake/pond, reservoir, or sea/ocean.
Description: Waterbody features were extracted from the USGS high-resolution National Hydrography Dataset (NHD). Only features that are within or adjacent to a national park unit and identified as impaired by the Clean Water Act Sections 303d (Category 5) and 305b (Categories 4a, 4b, and 4c) were included in this dataset. Common NHD waterbody features include lakes/ponds, reservoirs, and swamps/marshes.
