Description: Polygons in this shapefile represent approximate boundaries of extant populations of Chromolaena frustrata in Everglades National Park. Polygons were drawn in ArcGIS by projecting field collected GPS coordinates over aerial photography. Unrecorded field observations were also used in drawing the population boundaries. Data and observations were collected between 2005-2011. These polygons likely overrepresent the area known to be occupied. However, actual population boundaries may exceed drawn boundaries due to insufficient information. In any case, boundaries should be field truthed prior to using them in predicting impacts to this species from activities that occur within or in the immediate vicinity of the polygons.
