Description: In 2019, Assateague Island National Seashore continued to survey shoreline position as part of its Geomorphologic Monitoring program. This file includes the results of the Spring 2019 (May) survey, and contains the Ocean-side GNSS survey area for all of Maryland and Virginia. Starting in 2018 shoreline position accuracy was controlled using real-time streaming from the MDAI CORS station on Assateague Island. Horizontal precision of each position is 2.5cm at worst.
