Description: Alaska Native Regional Corporations (ANRCs) are corporate entities organized to conduct both for-profit and non-profit affairs of Alaska Natives pursuant to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act. ANRCs have legally defined boundaries that subdivide all of Alaska into twelve regions except for the area of the Metlakatla - Annette Island Indian Reservation.The following documents were used in determining the boundaries:1. The main treaty used to determine the Maritime boundary for the US/Russia line. This was used for all western corporations (The Aleut Corp., Calista Corp., Bering Straits Native Corp., N.A.N.A.
