Sanborn Map Company Unpublished Material geodata.DBO.Trailedge vector digital data This dataset was developed through project number 1051 supervised by the City of Baltimore DPW. Planimetric data was captured to American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) Class I Accuracy Standards for 1"= 40' scale maps for area within the City and for the outfall alignment and Back River Wastewater treatment plant and to ASPRS Class I Accuracy standards for 1"=100' scale maps with 2' contours for the LochRaven reservoir. Planimetric / topographic data based on 2008 aerial photography. Note that selected areas involved the production of 1' contours (Patapsaco Wastewater Treatment Plan) and the outfall alignment. Project 831 (2/2001 - 6/2003) involved update and new planimetric and topographic mapping. geodata.DBO.Trailedge withheld This dataset represents Edge of Paved trails in park areas and around Reservoirs and Unpaved trails around reservoirs. Feature capture rules: Unpaved Trails - Capture edges of clear maintained unpaved trails around reservoirs suitable for cross-country vehicles. Only captured in reservoir areas. Paved Trails - Capture edges of paved public Trails/walkways including parks and cemeteries. These do not include golf course or worn walking paths. All features included in the database design that were visible on the Spring 2008 aerial photography were captured and validated against the orthoimagery for completeness. City of Baltimore Department of Public Works, Bureau of Water and Wastewater vector digital data Planimetric and topographic features were compiled from aerial photography using softcopy photogrammetric workstations. Features were updated from prior photogrammetric base map and new features were compiled. All features were reviewed and updated on a per stereomodel basis. Change detection was completed by reviewing older planimetric data in comparison with the updated orthoimagery. This was used to focus the updates. All data was delivered in ESRI geodatabase format using an updated and enhanced data base design. Prior to performing the updates data was migrated from the existing geodatabase structure into the new format. Exception reports were produced and data was modified to adhere to the new design. The migrated data was provided to Sanborn for updating. It was translated into a format compatiable with ZI imaging workstations. Updates were performed and data was then translated to ESRI geodatabase format. Custom validation reports were developed and run using ESRI's PLTS for quality control. Data was QC?d using the orthoimagery as a backdrop. Based on the QC process edits were performed. After final acceptance all data was appended into a seamless geodatabase.
