roadway as Snow Emergency Routes.  These are roadways that have a high traffic volume and/or shoulders that are inadequate to accommodate disabled vehicles.  Disabled or parked vehicles along these roadways can cause problems when snow plowing is in progress. During a snow emergency, LFUCG coordinates LexPark to manage parking enforcement during declared Snow Emergencies. Vehicles parked on Snow Emergency Routes may be subject to citation or towing beginning 24 hours after declaration, unless otherwise directed by the Mayor’s Office. Enforcement timelines (24–48 hours) will be publicly announced in coordination with LexPark and included in City press releases.  LexPark will continue enforcement of safety-related violations during snow emergencies, including blocked ADA spaces, blocked hydrants, and parking on yellow curbs. These violations are subject to enhanced penalties (e.g., $100 fines) consistent with ordinance provisions.
