Description: It represents a distinct geographical area of the City that is determined through the Land Development/Subdivision Process and is approved by City Council. Undeveloped areas are generally defined by the Alberta Township Survey section grid and are assigned an interim code pending development. The boundary and/or name of Community Districts may be different than those of the Federation of Calgary Communities (FCC) and the Calgary Real Estate Board (CREB).Community Districts are the basic spatial unit used for describing and presenting civic census data within the city.
