It sets forth the Land Use Map and text of Goals and Objectives for seventeen topics or “elements”. The General Plan is required by state law and is updated at least every ten years. The General Plan is the vision of where and how the city should grow. It is adopted by resolution. The existing General Plan was adopted in 2016 and ratified by the voters.
