Description: A total of 431,639 polygons (Bottom Patches - BoPs) are defined for the nearshore (high water line to 50 m depth) of the North Central Coast (NCC) of British Columbia. Extending from the Alaskan border in the North to Cape Caution in the South, the BoPs provide a continuous coverage of predicted bottom type for this important ecological region. Please see the associated documentation for more details. Version 1.1 includes an update to the shellfish spatialization code to correctly assign the shellfish SourceKey, and a reduced segment distance resulting in a few more shellfish points being picked up.
