Texas
State Parks park boundaries were extracted from BoundaryProvisionalPy, stored on the Lands file geodatabase.
Wildlife WMA boundaries were copied from WMA_Boundary store on the Wildlife.sde.
The schema for this database is comprehensive to include all attributes in BoundaryProvisionalPy on the Lands file geodatabase and all attributes in WMA_Boundary from Wildlife.sde, No attributes were removed from either Parks data (BoundaryProvisionalPy) or Wildlife data (WMA_Boundary) during the merge of these dataset. Area calculated in the field 'CalcAcres' is inherited from BoundaryProvisionalPy and WMA_Boundary.
All office points were geocoded to the addresses that are recorded in the field 'SourceName'. These points were then buffered with a 10 meter diameter and then merged with BoundaryProvisionalPy and WMA_Boundary.
The final output was vetted for completeness and accuracy by comparing TPWD_ComboLayerPy_Nov2012 to a list of active TPWD properties and facilities used by AR Division as well as a list of active TPWD properties and facilities used by Infrastructure Division. Office locations correspond to address provided by the resource division on the TPWD website
UPDATES FEB 2013
The TPWD GIS Lab updated this dataset to reflect the updates to BoundaryProvisionalPy/Lands_TSMS_v10.gdb (Feb 2013) by replacing all State Parks feature that were in TPWD_ComboLayerPY_Nov2012 with the features updated in BoundaryProvisionalPY. This update also reflects the new location of the San Antonio Law Enforcement Office.
The field "Zipcode" was added to the attribute table to identify the zip code(s) where the property or office is located. In the instance where a property falls in more than one zip code then there are multiple zip codes entered into the field. Zip codes were obtained through a table join with TPWD_ComboLayerPY_Feb2013_CARTO, These records were entered into TPWD_ComboLayerPY_Feb2013_CARTO manually.
